Shawn Imwalle

Shawn, who was most often called Shawnshine, was a ray of light that touched everyone she came in contact with. Her magnetic energy is indescribable, was a blessing to be experienced, and will live on in everyone who had the opportunity to be in her presence. Her life was spent nurturing and caring for others, as she was so extremely selfless, always finding someone or something to help. Her ability to see a crisis or need, and jump straight into action, forging ahead when others were immobilized from pain and devastation, was an amazing gift not many individuals have. Her final profession was a cosmetologist/hair stylist for children (she never wanted it referred to as "cutting" hair because children think of cutting as causing pain). Special needs children were her favorite. She had such a way with children, brought such a sense of calmness to them, allowing them to enjoy getting their hair done, and able to keep them focused on her. She had also been a self-employed business partner for 10 years, a phenomenal bar tender, MTA Bus Driver and a cake decorator, as well as, many others. Her talents were too many to list, but enjoyed by so many, a Jackie of All Trades. She is a beloved wife, having given her wife of 20 years this Janurary, Murphy Imwalle, the most amazing love that could have ever been wished for, and a most amazing Son, Travis D. Hays. Shawn and Murphy were finally able to be Married by Law in 2015, but were always Married by Heart. She will live on through the eyes and hearts of the many she came to bless, and though her physical presence no longer exists, her energy continues to radiate and shine in the lives of those she came in contact with. Her greatest gift to this planet was Travis, allowing her legacy to live on through him. She will be so dearly missed and most certainly, will never be forgotten. Always and Forever My Love/My Wife, My Beautiful Baby-Girl, and Amazing Mother of our Son, Travis. Don't you worry, I got this side and will take care of our Boy, you watch over him/us from there. We feel you and know you are the best Guiding Angel to have on our side. With the Deepest Love - Your Wife Murphy, Son Travis and his Love Jari Lea, Sister Darla, Niece Nicole and her baby Great Nephew Logan, Nephew Joshua, Not Blood but Sisters none-the-less Joan, Tiffany and Dawn and Brothers Rex and JC, and the many others you touched
